AMV supplies a wide range of customer groups because we wish to be a versatile mechanical workshop. From our reference list you will see that many of our customers come from the process and oil industries, and our products are exported to many European countries as well as to the Middle East and Asia. An increasing proportion of our workshop jobs involve the machine production of complicated products where there is little room for deviation. This makes strict demands on our control routines. The machine park is supplemented and renewed continuously in order to ensure that we can provide the best results and maintain a high level of efficiency.

 

The machining department (500 m²) is separate from the rest of the production area in order to ensure that the finished surfaces are of high quality. Our skilled workers in the machining department have advanced milling and lathe machine centers to their disposal.

 

The workshop’s central production hall (1500 m²) includes high capacity processing machines for difficult tasks such as cutting, shearing, pressing and bending rough metal plates. Alternatively, our IRB 2000 welding robot can take care of a series of demanding jobs.

 

Our varnishing department has a hall of 170 m² that can be heated up to 65 ^oC. This ensures good drying before varnishing, and good tempering before assembling or transporting to installations.

 

Our two assembly hall (totally approx 2000 m²) gives a unique opportunity to put together and test extremely large constructions. The cranes in hall M1 can lift up to 16.5 tonnes, and the spacious and well-lit hall provides a good overview of the assembly and final control procedures. On some projects our customers are permitted to use our facilities for installation and test of additional equipment before the constructions are transported to installation sites.

 

After a product’s details have been inspected and tested in our assembly hall, we can also take responsibility for installation on our customer’s premises. This gives good security for project completion within the deadline.
